If You Give A Boy A Goat

When my partner and I wanted to do something special for the guys who work with us on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Maarten, we went beyond simply giving them money or bringing them gifts from the US. We consider them family, and a beautiful older woman who everyone calls "Auntie" takes care of 15 island children every day in their home. Some of the children have even moved in permanently.

So, we decided to buy them a goat. We purchased it from the local Goat Man and now its new home is just outside the back door where these children can love it every day. They named him 'Spot' and our next gift will be a coloring book for the children of all the island animals created by me! Yes, Spot will be featured on the cover.
